Data Engineering & Analysis
Fundamentals of Data Enginneering
Recommended book for beginners in this field. The author covers countless topics, as promised in the title. The book is generally at a basic level in many areas, but its broad scope provides a great deal of confidence due to the comprehensive knowledge of methodologies, technologies, and practices. This allows for more confident navigation not only through the "swamps of data." It highlights how vast the field of data processing is today, which is simultaneously maturing in many areas, but also dynamically developing. This breaking of conservatism and dogmas in data modeling, processing, and rules offers hope for further development, particularly due to the increase in computational power and the evolution of the cloud.
It helped me fill gaps I had in my previous commercial and non-commercial experience. Additionally, the authors, apart from presenting the topics, share their insights from their rich experience.
